And since Little Star Moon Mend is made with natural ingredients that do not include synthetic fragrances, harsh chemicals or synthetic preservatives, it is gentle and safe for even the most sensitive baby skin.
Ingredients
The College of Family Physicians of Canada suggests not using creams that contain boric acid, camphor, phenol, methyl salicylate or compound of benzoin tincture as these ingredients can be harmful to baby's skin.
Little Star Moon Mend is made using the gentlest natural ingredients of rice bran oil, comfrey infused olive oil, meadowfoam oil (a natural moisture barrier), Shea butter, beeswax, Aloe Vera gel, zinc oxide, and a blend of pure essential oils.
How to Use this natural diaper rash cream
At the first sign of the redness or the beginnings of diaper rash, wash baby's bottom with Little Star Baby Wash and Shampoo and a damp wash cloth of plain warm (not hot) water. Dry with a soft towel or let air dry then spread Little Star Moon Mend on baby's bottom, especially the affected area.
How To Prevent Diaper Rash
- The key to prevent and treat diaper rash is to keep your baby's diaper area clean, cool and dry.
- Check baby's diaper every hour and change it as soon as it is wet or soiled.
- Babies usually pee when they fall asleep so make sure to check the diaper first thing in the morning and after nap time.
- Clean your baby's bottom at each diaper change whether soiled or not.
- Use Little Star Moon Mend at every change to protect baby's skin from moisture.
- For a particularly nasty diaper rash or even to prevent one, you can spread the natural) diaper rash cream on baby's bottom and then put her to bed without a diaper on an open cloth diaper or towel during naptime.
